Above The Grid was founded in 2017 with small businesses in mind. They aren’t given as much love as the larger corporations because the checks they cut might not be as big. Add on other systemic variables like race, access to funding, and lack of education you will notice that small businesses have quite a mess to wallow through to get to success. So we figured, why not work with small businesses to get them the quality visuals they need? At least that part can be a bit easier. Our main company goal became providing access to creative branding for small operations and even non-profits.
However, we into everybody, and anybody can get it. So after our priorities with our mom and pop pals are completed, we like to go out at night and have a little fun. Mixing and mingling with the top guns is risky and thrilling, which is why we’re totally down to get our hands dirty doing dope creative work for them as well.
Die Dreaming | Cincinnati Pigster
In honor of the movers and shakers in Cincinnati, Ohio, apparel brand Die Dreaming and our designers collaborated on a gnarly wild pig mascot, fondly titled, ‘Cincinnati Pigster’. The final illustration is a nod to Cincy’s Porkopolis culture and Die Dreaming’s hipster audience.

Like Mom’s Only Vegan is a vegan bakery based in Cincinnati, Ohio that bakes vegan sweets that taste and feel like the cookies that your mother or grandmother baked, but without the animal products. Above The Grid was hired to create eye-catching and delicious social media content for Facebook and Twitter.

Matunda Juicery, a local Cincinnati juice bar and Above The Grid collaborated to bring the “Channel Orange” juice, named for Frank Ocean’s second album, into a visual t-shirt design. The custom pattern is inspired by west african kente cloth designs in honor of Black History Month, 2021.

Kill For Me’s brand identity was developed by Above The Grid. The Eau De Parfum was developed to be sexy, sultry and dangerous. Individual branding was done for the day and night fragrances to evoke the darkness and sensuousness of the scent.
